One of the biggest threats to public health in developing nations is something people don't like to think about: sanitary waste disposal and access to safe water. We can't solve these problems if we don’t talk about them, so WaterAid had a great idea. They came to us with a desire to raise public awareness using celebrities, social media and humor. Watch the video here.
The concept arose from the global popularity of the poop emoji, a.k.a. “poopmoji,” on social networks and chat apps. We created a native application that allowed people to customize their own poopmoji and then on World Toilet Day, celebrities revealed their own special poopmojis and called on fans for donations.
We continue to work with WaterAid to update the app with additional information and feature sets.[vc_single_image image="3738" img_size="130×50" onclick="custom_link" img_link_target="_blank" css_animation="none" link="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/wateraid-emoji-creator/id1042418748"]
