Multi Channel Media Strategy Raising Brand Awareness for Freeview

Freeview is the UK’s digital terrestrial television platform with their own streaming service offering, called Freeview Play, which gives free access to 95% of the nation’s most popular shows.
Freeview wanted to increase their brand awareness and usage of Freeview Play, whilst undertaking the challenge of influencing the consideration phase when purchasing a Smart TV.
Incubeta was tasked with raising brand awareness, increasing the usage of Freeview Play compatible devices and influencing Smart TV purchasing decisions.
Strategy
We started by targeting affinity, interest and lookalike audiences to drive engagement. We used similar ad copy across channels to create a seamless brand experience, and used data from Paid Search in contextual targeting for display.
From here we designed an in-depth visual reporting dashboard that pulls live data for each channel from various sources.
We also created and continually updated a testing log.
